Hi guys, I am interested in buying the game Sengoku and I have one question. I read that the patch 1.2 gives you the chance to start in 1551. Does this mean that the Portuguese have already arrived and guns are available from the beginning?

Yes, though only few provinces have Western influences (which is needed to build gunsmithies and Christian Churches). However, very, very quickly those become available to everyone so if you want guns from start or play with a Christian Daimyo it is a good bookmark.
