1. World map is ugly and confusing, the brown icons of capturable buildings are hardly visible. The buildings are too high, some parts of the map are invisible.
The whole 1920s atmosphere is gone.
2. Why the execute option was deleted? This is a mafia game not a kindergarten game.
3. Why you need extra murders to use a pistol or for stampede? By stampede how is that possible that he cannot avoid his own companions,
4. If we employ a new gangster and don't like the skills he/she learned automatically why can't we change them?
5. I occupied almost every area I killed all the bosses and yet I can't use the unique even the special weapons.
I installed the patch twice and removed it twice. Simply the patch making the game unenjoyable.

I actually really like the idea of the weapon progression system (and the other changes in 1.05 that make choices in the game more meaningful), but there needs to be an easier way to reliably get tier one (common) weapons of all kinds - so we can start leveling them up earlier in the game. If they do that, the system will be much more fun. Im fine with the higher tier weapons (even uncommon) being much rarer to find.

I have no issue having to wait to use the golden weapons. They were way too powerful for early game anyway and invalidated much of the game's challenge.

Things like the rush on upgrades didnt really make sense - and meant you could just wait to make important decisions on the fly. Now, you actually need to do some preplanning. Those kind of changes are good for the game.

I totally understand what you're saying, at the same time though, if you don't want to equip the gold or more powerful weapons at the beginning of the game, then just don't equip them. If you don't like the upgrade feature, then don't click on it. I just don't think it's right to take that option away from every player.

I could see them offering access at the easy difficulty level, but not the higher levels - access to the gold weapons at the start of the game just invalidates the game's challenge (thus why it would make sense in the easiest mode, but nothing higer, imo)

Yes, I definitely agree with you. Locking them at higher levels make sense for those wanting a harder game. Maybe even them being totally unlocked at the easiest level, then after that they can be locked at the other levels, but maybe instead of it being at the level 5 tier across the board, it can be different depending on what game difficulty the player chooses.

Most of the golden weapons were offered with the Deluxe version of the game, to lock them out to folks who bought this version would be rather unkind. ;)

We're still working and tweaking the Weapon Proficiency so thank you for all y'all input!

And for those who didn't buy the Golden Weapon set, it takes about five minutes to figure out how to add them to the game in the console commands.

However the fact yet another patch is being maligned does not bode well, does it.

I'm confused, are you saying Deluxe version should be pay-to-win (make game easier)?

That's not what I'm saying at all.

We offered the Golden Weapons for the Deluxe/Premium version and to gate them for folks when originally that was not the case would be bad faith to the content they purchased.

I do have the deluxe version of the game. I generally buy those to support the devs. I just don't my game to be balanced to be easier than the normal version because of it. I don't want pay to win mechanics, even if I did pay.

I would definitely appreciate the gold weapons being unlocked at the start of the game for sure, regardless of level :) Thank you!

I found the gold weapons to be too gaudy looking for my tastes and I usually sold them.

My suggestion would be to have them scale with the player and their crew, rather than locking them out.

It would also be nice if the dead drops at least had more basic weapons so I could train with various weapons without having to trade around the items that came with the crewmembers. I've opened a bunch of the dead drops and have gotten zero (0) weapons and around a billion nerve tonics. :)

This is entirely too logical. Truly a good idea.

However I am sure someone will come along and pretend to take note of your comment while assuring you they are constantly accepting feedback. And it is funny that this flurry of activity usually happens after a staff meeting when it is emphasized then you won't see them for a few weeks until they are back not collecting data following the next staff meeting where this is emphasized again. .

Not sure what the problem is here, if you don't want to use the GG, then just don't. Seems some want to stop others from using them is what puzzles me in this thread.

I'm against DLC which is effectively cheat codes, that's all. If I had known that was the intention behind it, I would not have supported.

The term 'Golden Weapon' didn't tip you off? With all due respect, it is right there in the name.

And, they and their brethren are not that hard to find if you know what you are looking for.

I, too, pre-ordered to support. And I was very enthusiastic in the first few months of release. Since then, my expectations have been greatly diminished and feel I wasted my money because I don't think my idea of a Prohibition Gang War game and their desire to rewrite history with circus performers and sexually ambiguous superkillers. When they allow modding out the lions, tigers and bears - oh my - and return Chicago to the people who actually built it then the entire project might be allowed to advance beyond a teenage kid's console game.

Yes! This is what is puzzling me too! And the upgrade option on too. If you don't want to upgrade rush a racket...then don't! I guess maybe a lack of control on the players part? If they have the option, then by Joe they must use it!

Not going to lie, let out a chuckle at your comment when, just previously, I had copied @TommyZ34 comment to pass along to the devs.

Really not sure what you mean by "staff meeting" and "won't see them for a few weeks". The community team is always taking feedback and passing it directly on a daily and weekly basis.

Anyhoo, thanks for the feedback TommyZ34!

And yet amazingly little is done. I’ve only been watching since the release.
