Patch 1.3a

Could someone tell me the difference between patch 1.3 and 1.3a? And must you have 1.3 in order to install 1.3a?

First of all, welcome to the forum!

1.3a fixes a few small bugs still left in 1.3.
If you have downloaded the 30MB 1.3a patch you only need to install that one, but if you have the 3MB hotfix you need to install 1.3 first and then 1.3a on top of it...
