Patch 1.4 and German version

Hi. I have the German based version of Vicky. I could install Rev as well. However, how can I install the English patch 1.04? It is still saying the German version is installed. Is someone here able to help me? An already extracted rar perhaps? Or must I install it in English completely again?

Please post your settings.cfg

You may need to edit the Windows registry to allow the patch to install.
My registry with the unpatched North American version looks like this (exported .reg file):

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Strategy First\Victoria]
"Install Path"="D:\\GAMES\\VICTORIA"
"Version"="1.00.000"
"Lang"="English"

You will have "Paradox Interactive" or your publisher instead of "Strategy First". You may need to change the "Lang" value to install 1.04.

Make sure you have a backup or an XP system restore point before editing the registry as you can easily cause major system problems.

Thanks. I could reinstall it as English version without problems. All work fine now.
