Patch questions

Im having a problem in a game were my convoys get reset every turn and alot of my units that arn't connected directly to my capital become unsupplied frequently. I think this is a glitch, but if not, how do I fix this, and why can't I supply from one of my allies territories.

If it is a glitch will installing a the patch render my game unplayable, and if not will it affect games I've already started, or will it only fix new games I start.

Not sure about what patch changes what, you can read the patch "readme"s for details.
It is always advised to start a new game with a new patch.
Wether it will work depends ofcourse on what patch you started the game with and what patch you are installing.
