hey guys are there any patches for Europa Universalis 1, like one where you can get rid ofthe 1792 deadline?

The 1792 thing is not fixed in a patch, but there are fan-made additions, like most notably Moctezuma's EUUnlimited "Unlimited Time Patch download" which you should find in his homepages download section: http://www.geocities.com/moctezumaiam/index.html#dl
As for general patching: If you bought your game recently it should already be patched, but if you inherited an old one it might not be. In that case there is a thread over here that suggests two methods to find patches.
