how do i apply the patches ? i have the basic version, as downloaded from direct2drive; can i use the 'check for updates' on the main menu ? can i apply patch 2 (1.05), without installing patch 1 ? thanks

I don't know, never had a game from D2D. Try checking for updates from Options menu. If you got 1.05 automatically, it will be written so in main menu.
How do we know if the patch was downloaded? I know in most of the other games you check the version in a corner of the main menu, how do you do it in EIC?
