Patching EU2

Correct. Install EU2 off of your CD. Then install the 1.08 patch on top of the initial EU2 installation. And then if you want the newest bata patch, install the beta patch over all previous installations.
 
Curious question about 1.08

I installed the game from cd, then applied patch 1.08. When I load the game, at the main menu, it still says eu2 1.00, is the patch therefore applied? I remember when I put on the previous patches, it always said eu2 1.07 or whatever the patch was. Is this normal or should it say eu2 1.08 on the main menu?

Download the patch then run it.
Make sure you are not running it from the internet.

Anyway patch questions belong in support.

And make sure you install the patch in the right directory. the 1.08 patch is kinda lousy in guessing what directory you installed the game in. It should say 1.08.
 
FP = Footprint.

Foot print lets myself and anyone else interested, know that I have seen the latest post. It is what I put when no comment is need from me.

As you can tell my tracking system is to have the last post in all threads by me, that way I know they are either solved or are waiting further action/response from the member who started the thread. This insures no one's problems get forgotten / missed or ignored.
