Patching problem

Then tell me when you get the error and what exactly it says and what you were doing when it appears.

What publisher version of the game do you have?
Thier logo will be on the CD.

And what do you mean by "I had the same error with prevoius installation"
Does that mean you have never had an earlier patch work either?

Strange that you ended up with the SF version and you live in Portugal?

So you can download the patch without problem correct?
It is only when you try and run the program from your desktop that the problem occurs?

Okay I just thought of something.
Clear your temp internet files (the Cache).
Then delete the patch.
Then download following the directions I gave above. Use IE if possible.

Then try the new patch.

I was thinking more a cd Copy protection problem.
But I now doubt it.

Try wiping HOI from the system, delete the patch you DLed.
Do a fresh install and then DLed a new copy of the patch from the Paradox Download page and install it.
