Description​

The patron of that holy order (teutonic order) is me.

Why must I pay to hire it? The cost should be 0.

(I know that I'm not at war so I can't hire them now, but when I was at war, the price in faith was already present.)

Steps to reproduce​

Take save, try to hire the holy order whom I'm the patron of.

If a Holy Order is already hired, their Patron can always hire them, but as to pay the piety cost, the other Ruler has paid.

To confirm your answer, I also checked the wiki and you are correct but is that said in the game? I'm trying to get a tool tip from the "patron" place or even the "no cost" place, but there is none.

If it was said in the game itself, I missed it but from what I saw, it is not written anywhere when you try to hire your patroned holy order.

I think my issue is that in french the text is cut:

I always thought that the missing word is "le recruter" to say that as a patron I can still recruit them even if they already are hired.

But seen your answer, I guess more words are missing, like "le recruter contre un coût en piété" or something like that. I started the game in english to check :

but nothing is said for the cost in piety even in english.
