My pause/breakl button on my Logitech wireless key board does not work. I have Windows ME P4. Is this a bug? I can use the pause button on the upper right of the screen with my mouse but it is not convienent because the screen scrolls. Will this be fixed in a patch?
where it happened when he switched out to the desktop and back again. Is that what happens for you or it happens all the time? If you use a standard keyboard is it OK? Have you talked to Logitech on the issue?
I use a Logitech wireless key board same with mouse. It happens all the time -when I press the pause/break button the "pause game" sign flashes on and off in about a second or less and the time continue on. Only pressing the pause button on the game screen with the mouse stops the game. I did write to the game co.days ago but no answer.
We tried finding a solution but we couldn't. Johan doesn't even know what is wrong.
I have tried searching Logitech's site but their "Lisa" search system/knowledge base reminds me more of a dumb blonde than some kind of artificial intelligence
I really don't know why it happens and nobody seems to know. It works fine on all other kind of keyboards though.
I guess I will have to use the pause button on the upper right of the game screen and try not to scroll to far? Perhaps they will fix it in a future patch but I doubt it because not many people have this key board?

Nope that is the only button that acts like that. The pause game only flashes on and off when you press the button on the key board. The time marches on.
I've got the same keyboard and have seen the problem in both running under Windows 2000 SP2.
The "workaround" I use is to press CTRL+PAUSE once. This removes the behaviour for the duration of the game session. Once I restart the game I need to use the w/a again. Fairly trivial in other words
While looking to see if I could fix this permanently I noticed I've got some HID events (kbdhid in the event viewer). Does anybody else get the same? Could be a bad firmware or driver for the Logitech keyboard...
