When I receive a call to arms from an ally, could it please pause the game. When playing EUIV if I have a long period of peace I generally do something else at the same time on my computer (i.e. visit the paradox forums), so I can get a call to arms, not answer it in time and lose the alliance because the game carries on. The game pauses on all events so why not a call to arms? Even when I am do see a call to arms, I will pause the game so I can see what I'm being called into. Its very frustrating losing an alliance that I mean to keep, especially in Ironman games where it this means I restart.

You can set the action yourself by going into "Message Settings" and configure how you want the game to handle specific types of messages.

I cannot find one for receiving a call to arms in those settings. There are settings for when an alliance is broken or honoured, or if I am called into a war as a co-belligerent, or when called into an independence war, but I cannot find one for a call to arms.

Coming back to this as I tried to select it when it popped up but the option to have it pause is not available, I can only choose to have it as an alert or popup, there is n option for popup and pause. See attached images for evidence.

In addition, @BjornB could you please at least make the accept/decline buttons greyed out for first few seconds? There are few instances where I accidentally clicked it as soon as it popped up when I was clicking on unit, province, or whatever that happen to be where the button showed up. This would be greatly appreciated.

Also, in general, pop-up messages should be FIFO, not LIFO. Older messages should stay on top until dealt with because they are 1) what you were reading and 2) will auto accept or decline sooner. We're reading and navigating menu options, not depreciating inventory, LIFO isn't ideal here :).
