Pause Key Rebinding

I'm looking for some help in rebinding the Pause key to something other than the actual 'Pause' button on a keyboard.

I recently got a new laptop to take off to school with me, and allowed myself to install EU2 just so I'd have something to do. Unfortunately this laptop doesn't have a dedicated Pause key, but instead the pause functions are shared with the F12 key. When playing EU2, the F12 function (bringing up the console) trumps the Pause function, so I'm only able to pause by manually clicking on the button.

Probably not really game-breaking, but it is still very annoying to me. Any help in rebinding this key would be appreciated.

Cool, it works, always wanted my space bar to be the pause button. I like things that make life easier...however so slightly

Just be aware that if you play MP and try to chat, you'll be doing a lot of inadvertent pausing ...
