Pause not working

This one goes all the way back to EU1.

Start up the game. Pause it. Atl+Tab out and do some other stuff. Alt+Tab back to HOI/EU. Hit unpause. Game starts. Hit pause again - game will not pause until you go all the way down to the minimal time speed. Then it will pause normally until you Alt+Tab out again.

I took a look over in the Support thread and doing a search couldn't find anything matching.

This is fairly minor, so if it only effects me, its not a biggie.

However, it is not obvious how to 'fix' teh issue so to speak - so it could confuse the heck out of newbies.

Does this tab out/pause issue effect you Castellon? If not, I guess we can just ignore this...

Can't speak for Castellon, but I can confirm I never had any problems with tab-out, despite doing so often for AARs (to keep notes), and having various applications running in the background. But let's not give up too soon.

Well, IMO, the problem isn't the key mapping.

As I said, making the game go down to min speed makes it recognize the pause key again without doing anything else - so somehow game speed and pause are having an effect on each other after an alt+tab.

I'm really out of ideas as to what could cause it - but it happens virtually every time I alt+tab out.

When I use the Right Ctl key (on the enter key side) to ctl + say it makes pause|break act like num4. If I hit right ctl again pause|break works fine.
