[PC] Graphical errors and repeated crashes

Hi. I've suffered from some very strange, recurring graphical errors, which often eventually lead to crashes to the desktop. The most common one I've had takes the form of vastly increased lag and much of the terrain turning black or losing its texture once I zoom in below a certain level; this is usually fixed by tabbing out and back in, but not always. Additionally, sometimes the game will just lock up, freezing but not crashing. This is also usually fixed by tabbing out, but when it happens, it happens very repeatedly, often immediately after a previous instance was fixed. All of the above happened even under earlier patches. Most recently, as of 1.09, a more serious problem has started cropping up. Namely, the entire map takes on the appearance of Terrain mapmode, but covered in dense black diagonal striping. Immediately after this happens, the game freezes several times in a row, then crashes altogether. I've attached a dxdiag and the Windows error log; no CKII error log is generated. If there's anything anyone can suggest to solve this, it'd be appreciated!

Sorry to hear about the issues. Please make sure you try a full reinstall, meaning that you also need to remove any remaining folders manually. Make sure to backup your savefiles.
