PC started heading home with completing hunt

Description​

My PC Sheik Lubb was guest at a hunt. After the host decided he wanted to kill the roe with spears, I returned to the main map, soon after saw a toast pop up that I had gained hunter exp, and Lubb started marching home. No end of hunt events occurred. In the midst of the hunt I had the wildflower event where I used the intrigue test to get the pressed aster. Before arriving I did have a 'mutiny humiliation' fight with an entourage member that resulted in them leaving the entourage. Maybe they were selected to be involved in a hunt event but was not present?

Steps to reproduce​

Only saw this once just now. Ironman game.
