Peace treaty awards but no peace?

Dunno if this has been reported. An ally of mine (Mexico) entered into a war with another country (USA) due to an event. Mexico called for its allies to enter the war and I did. After several months the USA offered me a peace that consisted of 3 provinces to me and one to Mexico. However the peace was described as being between the USA and me only (my country alone). I accepted and Mexico did receive the province noted but remained at war with the USA.

Technically this is not a bug because everything worked as described, but it was a bit jolting to see a country (Mexico) receive peace treaty awards but not receive the peace.

Situation
Side A: France
Side B: Algier (with Russian guarantee), Russia (me), Ottoman (Russia's satellite)

France colonial DoW Algier. Russia honors guarantee, pulling Ottoman in.

France frantically offered peace to Russia, I decline until I got tired of fighting as I need to prepare my forces to invade Korea and hit UK while UK's busy in China. Peace term was Corsica to Ottoman, I get all 3 provinces of French Algier + French colony in carribean.

For some reason, Ottoman got corsica but when French and algier return to status quo, Ottoman lost Corsica, Corsica is back to French hands.
