Peacock Update Crashing Frequently on Mac

Description​

I am getting random intermittent crashes in the game - they don't seem to be linked to any specific events or behaviours. Frequency ranging from every hour to every 5-10 minutes

Steps to reproduce​

Several times I have loaded up a save and the game crashes in less than 10 minutes without even unpausing to start time. This has only started happening since the Peacock update. I have tried multiple reinstalls and updated my Mac OS
