performance issues after some time

Description​

After playing for some time (ca 1h), on max game speed performance becomes abysmal and the game is unplayable (on pause everything is ok). Restarting game fixes the problem, but after some time it reappears.

Platform is Linux but using windows version via steam proton (native version is unplayable at all).
Enabled mods shouldn't matter: immortality improved, debug toggle (even less invasive).
