Hi,

I am trying to import the ship models from BFGA 2 into Stellaris.

DISCLAIMER: As these ships fall under copyrights I will write this mod only for my personal use and will not upload it anywhere.

But while playing around with the models I came across some funny but also unnerving things. After converting the models to mesh-files, they look pretty in JoroDox:

But then in game the ship just looks as if some evil xeno just has molten it:

Now, this heresy has to stop, but .. how?

Has anybody experienced anything like this and could point me in a direction - what I might have to change/correct/... purge?

Thank you very much!

Okay, I managed to solve it - it seems that the Clausewitz Engine can not handle huge models - (tstststs... Wenn das der Herr Generalmajor wüsste...) - so cutting the model into smaller pieces is the solution ....

... and now it works ... oh, how I wish to already have my Macragge's Honour!!
