Hi !

We see that FTG 1.3 introduces the personnal union between monarchs.
We can notificate that in the monarchs file (we can define the senior and the junior in this relation), and it can serve to trigger some events. All of that appears in the diplomatic screen

But after all, what are the consequences ingame ?
A forced military alliance ? less diplomatical actions ?

I've tried -quickly- Scotland en 1617. Scotland is in personnal union with England at this time, but i haven't seen differences with a normal game. So can we have more explanations about it ?

It works very much like a vassalization, except that the junior partner cannot be annexed (like Poland so often does to Lithuania) and the union ends automatically when monarchs without a defined personal union come to the throne.

I've considered an automatic alliance and have not done so, but might if gameplay shows that it is needed. Royal marriages are also allowed for both partners, but again that may change before final release.

Ok,
I understand better. Just another question : like the vassalisation, part of income of the junior country goes to senior or not ?
Thanks for the answer

No, there is no income or manpower bonus for the senior country.
