Phantom navies = literally hundreds of fleets with few or no ships actually in them

Phantom navies appear in allied ports of puppet nations. This occurs regardless of which side I'm playing - Allies, Axis, etc.

Current workaround is to periodically (every few days of game time) to merge into a single fleet. This, however, is a drag.

Am I missing a patch to fix this?

Currently playing HoI2 Armageddon v1.1 (GKCW) on Vista

There is going to be a new patch coming out around the end of Feb.

Give them a chance to fix it.

Yes they had changed the schedule for the patch after i wrote my message.

I am also having the same problem with massive ghost fleets, my 1936 game has reached '45 and is now almost unplayable. I am playing plain vanilla, no mods. Just wanted to keep this major problem with Arma 1.1 on the front burner.

Note: I meant to add that by late '45 my allie Argentina had over 5400 ghost ships in one of its ports. I terminated my military control and then the fleets disappeared. None of my other puppets had this problem ( Venezuela, Rom., Bulgaria, Croatia, Iceland, Portugal or Japan and friends ). I am playing with fog on so I don't know if any of the allied nations have these massive number of fake fleets.

I am seeing the saem issue with any of the nations i am running the military for (Japan, Rep. of Spain).
Need a fix for this and need it to not corrupt our save games if possible :)
