Phenomenal Piety Loss

Playing CK 1.04b, no mods, as Kingdom of England.

I was sitting around waiting for my rep to improve when I glanced at my piety rating and saw that it was thousands of points in the negative. So I checked my piety loss and saw that it was -289926.4 per month. I have the save game, but it causes a CTD when I try to load it.

This same thing has happened at least twice before, but I thought nothing of it because I was fiddling around with modding at the time and figured I screwed something up.

I'm pretty certain. To be sure, I'll uninstall and reinstall it with the patch and play a few more games to see if it keeps happening. Haven't had much time this weekend, so it could take some time.
