Since at least the last patch, whoever rules the Seven Kingdoms triggers a war every few days (99/100 this is an embargo war) that lasts a day before ending inconclusively. However sometimes (usually every few months) it splits the kingdoms for a few days before reuniting them, which gets really annoying after a bit.

Maybe the best solution is to simply disable embargo wars for this mod, it's not like they really add much.

I haven't noticed that. Could you supplement with a little more detail?

Are you using the latest version of the mod and vanilla game? Are you using any submods? Which dates does that occur?

In my experience starting from just after Aegon I forms the Iron Throne and continuing off and on for the rest of his reign (haven't gone more than 8040 ish), he will declare an embargo (mega) war on one of the free cities, shortly after the war will conclude inconclusively. Sometimes this throws up a mega war splitting the realm temporarily, other times it doesn't. I think at one point I was up to the 24th Westeros-Pentoshi embargo war.

No submods, and I'm using the latest version. I've only played the Crowned Stag start, so it might be different in other dates.

It is one of the greatest contributions of the mod and yet you call this "worthless"? Lol.

Ninja is correct. The megawar system is so fantastic that I think its adoption into the base game would be worth an expansion in and of itself. Embargo Wars, on the other hand, don't add anything, and the Seven Kingdoms and other nations get involved in too many struggles that they have no reason to get involved in.

I'm having the same problem. Both in War of Ninepenny kings and Bleeding years start dates (playing in both as the Vale). When the Iron throne is at peace, the king sometimes starts these embargo wars that just instantly end inconclusively. I get them about every month or two. I tried starting a new game, making sure I don't flick through the characters in the starting screen, and reinstalling the mod but they still happen. No submods and the latest version.

Apologies if I'm committing a Harrenhal-level breach of forum etiquette by resurrecting a week-old thread, but I can confirm I'm having similar issue with the Iron Throne getting into "embargo war loops" about 20 years into a Robert's Rebellion start just like OP's. No submods, latest version (v0.9.2).

EDIT: I've uploaded my latest save file, in case that helps.
