PK Interface Mod current version v1.0
New kid on the block, boys!
This interface mod changes 28 files in the Interface subdirectory. The intent is to make HoI a much more mouse-friendly program.
Primarily it changes the scroll headers, sliders, and buttons to a) enlarge them, and b) cause button colors to change when you have mouse-floatover and mouse-select.
It also repositions some images to optimum position (like the four research area images - scientist, consumer goods, etc), the cancel techs buttons (!), and a few others.
Downloads
There are three areas of downloads to this thread:
First, a few images so you can see what it does to the program (note: the France40 background and StonyRoad main window background are not included in this mod - you can get them from other mods found at Stony Road).
Then you have a small sample .zip file that includes just the three buttons for the main window (consumer goods, supplies, tech research, production). I've included the default HoI images as a backup for you.
Finally, the mod itself. This also has a complete backup folder of all the default HoI images as well as a Readme file (read it!).
Without further ado:
Pictures
Main Window note: this is the only large file (a .bmp); jpg blurs images somewhat and I wanted you to see a bit of the quality better. also, note at the bottom of the pic how the events scroll buttons have been changed
Tech Research note: when you float your mouse over the cancel button you will see it change to orange and it slightly enlarges. when you actually click on the cancel button it changes to yellow (default) and is much larger - it is all very noticeable to catch your attention, yet not ridiculous
Convoy Screen note: thank goodness!
Ledger

PK Interface Mod v1.0
Well, I hope that all makes your weekend a bit better and your HoI experience a lot better. Enjoy!
note: this mod is an expression of thanks for all the big and small modders out there from CORE & Stony all the way down to this kind of stuff. Also, for each of you who experiments, scripts, and gives productive feedback to the forums.
This can be hosted by anyone!
