Planegraphics mod!

I have fixed some coding in the graphics so that instead of the biplane graphics for all neutrals +US/Italy/france.
They all now get the monoplane.
So if you are tired of seeing soviet or US biplanes instead of the awesome planes they really had, I'll be happy to mail you them.
I don't know how to set up a link here.

It will probably be fixed in the coming patches anyway, but I was tired of seeing the biplanes

I'll send it to you, but I know nothing about garphic modding. All I did was renaming some files.

The only thing is that this figter sprite does not work correctly. When it is supposed to be fighting and pointing NE it does not show up correctly.

I have renamed sprites for Germany, USA, Italy and the Soviets so that the tank icons and plane icons for all of these work, even up to jet fighters. If any one is interested I could talk to Procer about posting these renamed files on Road to War.

It does work correctly if you change the fight files to 16 frames instead of 14.

Could you describe which filenames you changed to get that effect? Is it possible to get the German jets show as jets this way? (the Me262 graphics are already in the game, but for the moment there is no model that uses them)

Is there a glitch?
It works fine for me.

We don't want this in a patch because I only use level2 minor fighters instead of level1 minor fighters.
I dont know how to trigger jetsprites when that tech is invented.

What paradox need to do is use all the sprites they made and let them change when the right technology is present.

Here is a do it yourself so I dont need to send by Email. If someone could post it I would be happy.

Go into hoi/gfx/map/units
Find all the textfiles containing fighterminor+L2 (only those with L2) 13 files
Put them into a temporary folder
Change all L2's to L1
Find the files that has "A-fire" in their name. (2files)
Open them and find the line Frames = 14
Change the number to 16
Put all the files back into "hoi/gfx/map/units" overwrite all

Voila!
