Play Victoria in a window?

there is the possibility to play Victoria in a window and not in full screen?

Not officially, but you can mod the .exe to do it (changing just one byte):

Note that this window has none of the usual window controls and isn't resizeable; it's just a window. And don't report problems in the support or bug forums unless you can reproduce them with an unmodified .exe.

PS: there is also the byte string for EU2 - HOI2 - CK? I don't find the search function in the forum.... sorry

If you browse through the mod forums most of them have threads on this. A poster named 'unknown' posted the initial info. The string for EU2 is 00 00 00 00 8B 4D 08 89; HoI2 is 00 00 00 00 8B 55 08 89 (Doomsday may be different).
