Players can't connect to my game! Or can they? I don't know!

So basically I've been trying to host DM mode games. Thing is, even after waiting a good 5 or so minutes, no one seems to join them while still in the lobby, or even if I start the game with bots. So I figured... maybe there's a connection issue.

Except here's the problem... I have no way to tell if there really is. I don't have any friends who own the game, so can't ask them for help... so how do I know if it really is an issue or I'm just getting unlucky? For all you DMs out there, how long do you usually have to wait?

I did open that one router port, but that made no difference. Anyone got any suggestions, perhaps?

Players seems to only join DM rooms where there's already 2 or 3 players.

How high is your difficulty set? I personally avoid anything that is set to normal or higher currently cause i hardly ever reach to boss with strangers especially when DM is using those infamous Dire ducks, easy is good enough to even DM still ditching the good amount of damage to heroes.

Yeah, it's rather annoying. Sat for, like, half an hour in the plan-changing room and nobody even peeked in. I have it set to Easy, too... Do you need to be in a match or is the waiting room fine for the players to join?

I tried setting it to Easy, but that didn't really seem to help. Also tried just starting the game, but again nothing for like 5 minutes, which is how long it took me to murder the bots.

Add some friendly fellows on these forums to your steam friends list and then invite them to your game. Problem solved.
