Playing as France or Britain in WiF?

Hi,

I was wondering if people could give me their opinion on whether or not it's a good idea to play WiF with France or Britain. Playing Platinum, I had a tough time beating them as Germany; so will it be a walkover as France?

Playing as the UK is always challenge. France should be even harder in Titanium.
You should try UK to start, it is the country I enjoy the most playing with.

Actually its much easier to play with UK.Try Soviets or Japans.

It will be a tough time with every nation you will play. As UK it will be tough on the sea, land and air, in all the theatres, as France, it will be tough on land and air in 1940 and then, if you resist the german attack it will be even tougher to try to pass on the offensive. UK is the most interesting of the two, if you enjoy the naval war.

France is simple to play as, just get your land doctrine to the point that it lets you build forts, and extend the maginot line to the Channel, making them all 10. Garrison each province with 10 or more divisions of infantry- and boom they cant take you. I turtled the whole game as France, operation Barbarossa went ahead 'historical' though the Germans made little progress in the Ukraine ( maybe because i had a lot of German divisions bordering me still )

I even toyed with Italy, planed a attack for over two years ( Para drop, marine assault, followed up by a general offensive to destroy the front line in under a month) It was kind of funny because the Soviets went from having Moscow and Leningrad being directly attacked by ground forces in 1944- to Berlin taken in early 1945.
