Hi,
My first game ever as SU in HoI. I played with World In Flames Titanium Edition.
Very interesting nation and I hope I could feel the German invasion later in the game. But a disappointment.
I focused to build infantry and to try lower the huge dissent. As I didn't know there was events and Spanish Civil War I should have taken not help. Later when the Nationalists I got more dissent. But finally I had remove all of them, don't remember when but I think near the Finnish Winter War.
The war with Finland went first very slow, I really thought like the Soviets did in real life then that it would be a piece of cake but heavy fighting and I couldn't breach their defences. But finally I managed to take Kajanni(I think it's that province). And spread my troops in Central Finland. Then the event came I pushed for my demands.
After the war I continued to build up and research.
But Barbarossa was a big disappointment, I could held the Germans very good and even take over on German national province (Königsberg).
Also some strange things happened like:
Malta fell and got recaptured.
Corsica fell to Canda
Crete never got invaded by axis
Cyprus got invaded by Italy
Italy did a amphibious landing in Tanta in Egypt.
Also UK maneged to make a amphibious landing in a undefended Wilhelmshafen. They conquered all from Hamburg to Essen?! (I have pictures on this that I will show later).

First I must show this, maybe this caused the "boring game": Second day I went to continue my little scenario I got this bug when starting and still gets it. But I just press ignore.
The situation:
Is it me who is a good defender or are my version of WiF wrong and damaged? Also why is there so many unhistorical things in this campaign?
