Playing on two machines.....help Please

Hi all, I have two machines and want to be able to set up a MP game with a buddy but Im having problems.


We have two HOI disks if it matters?

Im connected with DSL splitting the connection between the PC's with a HUB, each computer has its own IP address so I should be able to host a game on one machine and join it from the other right?....wrong? I tried it that way but it kept telling me there was no game at that address?


Not sure what other info I should provide, anyone have any suggestions.

Ah good idea.......I figured it was a 50/50 thing.....as usual I guessed wrong.....

Do both computers have the right ports open? There could be a firewall restricting access between each one.
