Playing On Xbox One And Need Help: Cannot Survey Home System In Tutorial

Hello,

I just started and this looks like a great game, but I've already run into a wall of frustration. The tutorial says to select my science ship, select my home system's star, and survey. But try as I might I never get an option to survey.
Please help!

Seems they forgot to update the tutorial. Your home system is already surveyed. Try a neighboring system and it should work.
