Modding wiki has been updated and now includes instructions on how to add custom LUT for color corrections etc.
Have had some fun playing with some filters.. Nothing serious yet, just exploring the possibities :)

Just uploaded three trial LUTs that increase contrast to steam workshop. CO really implemented a fantastic modding method which allows you to tune the game LUT in photoshop, real time!

And They've provided a fall-look filter that colours the trees red/orange/brown. Now we can simulate seasons by having 3 filters switch automatically after 3 in game months. green booster filter--> bright sunshine filter --> fall filter. No need for different props! (saves cpu/mem I suppose).

Although autumn will have to give winter a miss and go straight into spring ;) (at least in the north and sunny, no leafless tree models yet).

Is it possible to have a mod that does this in the unity engine, just switch filter?

Also is dependent on the exact type of green used in the models I suppose. Something to look out for when you are modding new flora.

Is this viable?

Yes you can change LUT's at runtime
