Please help! Can't play game! (WS2_32.DLL)

Hi all,
I just got EU shipped over from Germany.
I've installed the game, but when I try to start, it gives me the message: 'A required .DLL file, WS2_32.DLL, was not found'.
Has anyone else had this problem? Do you know what I need to do to fix it?
Please help if you can, I was really looking forward to playing this game!

Sounds like it's a directx problem. Try to download the newest version on it (www.microsoft.com/directx)

It turned out not to be directX, but you put me on the right track. It turned out that I needed to download Winsocks 2.
Now, to the matter in hand!
