Please help me install patch 1.08

I uninstalled and reinstalled EU 2 for patch 1.08. I clicked on 1.08 and I clicked on open and it started to download. When it finished downloading I retarted my computer, clicked on EU 2 and 1.08 wasn't installed. So this time I click on save instead of open and it still doesn't work. How do I install patch 1.08? Please help as I'm eager to try the new patch.

Download the patch to a place where you can find it (desktop is a good one, oh, you don't need to restart after downloading it) double click on it, and follow the directions.

You should always do 'save' instead of 'open' when downloading patches. Then run the .exe to install it. You don't need to reboot. Among other things this means you don't need to keep downloading the patch if you need to reinstall it.
