Hello,

I have a game with ~100+ hours in it, I recently opened the game after about a month or two away from it and upon loading the game, most of my planets immediately became unstable with populations no longer having housing or jobs. This is not the state that I left the planets in on my prior save, nor have I changed any government settings. To further test this issue, I opened ~5 prior saves of the same playthrough at varying times including well earlier in the playthrough (when I know I did not have any issues with stability) and each time I load from a prior state, the stability immediately drops. This has made the game unplayable. Is there something that can be done to fix this, I would really like to continue this play through.

thanks,

Most likely this is a game version compatibility issue, OR a mod problem - are there any mods in use here?

If not you can revert to the game version in use back then, and load a save from that time (not one that's been updated by the current patch).

If there are mods in use, there may not be a fix - but try the User Mods forum.

Good luck!

Hi AndrewT, good call on reverting to a prior version; I reverted and it did the trick; thank you for the quick help and saving my game! (no mods being used)
