when I try tro install patch 1.02 it says that cant finde game on my hard drive, patch is 1.02

We have updated our Community Code of Conduct. Please read through the new rules for the forum that are an integral part of Paradox Interactive’s User Agreement.
When you did the original install, did you do it to the default path? Depending on which country version you have it should be at C:\Paradox Entertainment\Hearts of Iron\ or at C:\Strategy First\Hearts of Iron\ so have a look to make sure it's there.
Also, make sure you're using the correct patch for your version of the game.
If you used a different installation location then you may have to help the installation program find it...and I've seen instances where a very high drive letter can cause problems.
If all else fails, uninstall the game and then reinstall using the default path.
Let us know how that turns out.

As MrT says most likely causes are wrong directory or wrong publisher version.
Also if you are on XP/Win2000 you must be the admin for the account you are using. You may also try unistalling the game and then do a fresh install and then apply 1.02.

Now i am stuck again, is there difference betwen sfi patch and paradox n.a patch ???
No. There should be no difference at all between them BUT...
If you go to the Paradox download page right now you'll see patch 1.01 is listed there, not 1.02. This is because the 1.02 patch wasn't available until quite late on Friday evening and Paradox hasn't had the chance to update the page yet. Use the link at the top of this forum to download 1.02 from either Paradox's site or SF's.

Canada is one of the most aggressive Allied players, It has been reported that they often attempt an invasion of Europe on thier own, Wonder how that happened.
