After I insall DD to HOI2 and try to launch, a window enitled "Hearts of Iron 2 Beta" comes up saying "Please install the latest milestone". I uninstalled it, re-installed it then patched DD to 1.3 and tried playing but same thing. Help please

Please make sure the patch installer uses the correct path to install the updated files to. Sometimes it's not able to find your installation and falls back to a default path.

You can get this error message from the Armageddon beta patch, which is not compatible with HOI2 or Doomsday.
The last patch for DD is 1.3a, available here :

I am getting the same error message with DD Armageddon. I have HOI2 1.3. Just downloaded DD Armageddon and installed it. Downloaded DD Armageddon 1.2 and installed it into the same folder as DD Armageddon. Same error message. Help.
If you bought Armageddon ($4.95) by itself it won't work with vanilla HOI2 - it has to be installed over the top of Doomsday
Thanks. I forgot to install Doomsday and didn't realize it until I re-read my post. I should have noted that here after I fixed the install.
I have purchased Hearts of Iron II Compete (as well as Victoria / Victoria Revolutions) and when starting the game (Steam) either the mouse will not load up or if it does the movement is slow and jerky and the screen does not have a clear picture. I have used the backup and reinstall on Steam but no progress on the game. All other games via Steam work fine. Any ideas?
