I just bought and downloaded HoI2 from ParadoxOnDemand. (by the way, its an excellent service, and I shall buy your paradox games from there from now on) While I like single player, I just got tired of it since I played so much HoI and EU on that mode, so I wanted to play online. I get to the lobby and then I try to join a game and what i most feared happens: Wrong version.
While I have patch 1.2 i know that there are 4 letters on the upper right corner which indicate the precise version. I soon found out by one the players that these 4 letters indicated changes on the game files. They said I just had to change a letter on the misc file to get their version.
What I did was to change something in the reinforcements to 0.4. But it didnt work as well. So what now? I want to play online but it doesnt work. If necessary put an atachment on your post so i can download the necessary files.
