Poland: OVERHAUL is mod centred around Second Polish Republic. In mod I've used jamiroquai000's ALL-IN-ONE Mod events and tech teams.

Poland: OVERHAUL is mod centred around Second Polish Republic. It features hundreds of historical events, meaningful decisions and balanced tech teams. Players bored by factory macro management may want to try new mechanism of Free Market economy automatizing industrial growth to focus on planning and building unstoppable army. New Manoeuvre Doctrine is interesting alternative to Blitzkrieg for less industrialized countries. Improved map adds more depth to gameplay and allows for daring manoeuvres and encirclements.

Mod is available only in English.

Poland features:
- Map with 11 more provinces

Version 1.0 changes:

This looks promising. A few things:
- shouldn't only France join in a war against Germany with Poland?
- Hungary related events could be added (if they are already there, than disregard this.)
- Lend equipment should be Lend Lease or not?
- Foreign Volunteers event should not be available for Poland in my opinion

(It would be interesting if Poland would take the place of the Reich as the nemesis in ww2.) In my opinion DH should have various alternate history events, but almost always a ww2, since if a country gets too large, sooner or later others would find it a problem.)
- French could take the place of Italy in this case. A Polish-French alliance against a British-Italian one would be interesting.

They sometimes join war when Reich is mostly beaten. Let's not forget anti-war lobby in France after WW1 which would scare any democratic government from starting another war.
- Hungary related events could be added (if they are already there, than disregard this.)
Hungary played big role during Polish-Bolshevik War but I can't find any major events in years 1933-39. In 1939 Hungary refused to attack Poland with Hitler. I think I can prohibit HUN joining Axis as long as POL is in game and increase chances for alliance between POL and HUN when GER is defeated.

Not really. It would be nearly impossible to maintain secure connection between UK and Poland, so simple adding free IC is unrealistic. Instead, player must meet some conditions every week to get help.
- Foreign Volunteers event should not be available for Poland in my opinion
It is available to Luxembourg so why not Poland? ¯\_ツ_/¯ I'm sure that some Hungarians would enlist :)

Now during Preventive War relations with UK decrease if Poland is too belligerent, however Soviet Union would still be considered as much bigger threat. I will think of events to fire would Poland get too belligerent and start attacking Balkans, etc.

Good idea. Successful Preventive War leaves player with not much more to do.
 
Well the government of Teleki supported the Polish nation diplomatically in every way, even tried to ease tensions between the Reich and Poland (which couldn't have worked, since the Reich already planned the war.)
In 1939 refugees crossed the Hungarian border numbering in 100k. Soldiers and civilians alike. Thousands stayed there temporarily while others moved onwards to try to reach the Polish government in exile. Every single Reich request and order to give them up was denied, even when they were threatened with war.
All of the Polish units who crossed the border gave up their weapons, but only for safekeeping. They immediately got new papers and even payment from the Hungarian government, the same amount as a Hungarian soldier would get.
Thanks to the titanic efforts of the government and the Interior Minister ( dr. József Antall) around 70k soldiers reached the new Polish units in France and the Middle-East.
Thousands of civilians remained in Hungarian towns and villages. They got the same amount of salary from the Hungarian state each month, as a working Hungarian citizen would get.
Schools were created and opened for them and even a Polish military hospital was opened.
After the 1944 German invasion, things got worse, but before sent to the Armia Krajowa. In the Warsaw uprising two Hungarian divisions were stationed there. (It was a pretty stupid Reich decision by the way.) The two divisions sent volunteers to the Polish rebels, ammunition, weapons, supplies and protected every unit that crossed their territory. In numerous occasions there was firefight between Reich and Hungarian units, because the Hungarians protected retreating Polish squads.
After the failure of the uprising the Polish soldiers once again got Hungarian uniform, false papers and made-up Hungarian names so the Gestapo and other offices would not find them.
Hitler was furious. They invaded Hungary easily (because some of the generals were German friendly and they did not carry out a defence order) and did not think this would happen.
It was a real possibility that if they tried to disarm the two divisions, than they would join the Polish Home Army and Hungary would also rebel entirely. There were many meetings between Armia Krajowa and the Hungarian military and an alliance have only been narrowly voted down.

These are only a few things from which happened. Translating them to valid events are a bit more problematic, but some of these could work.
 

Mod looks pretty well made. Poland isn't comically overpowered.

Do you have it set so that Poland can still be an active player after it falls?
In mod I've focused on giving player tools not to be defeated. ;) I'm open to criticism concerning balance, For example I'm not sure, what exact price should be for lending equipment from UK or maybe cooldown of 7 days is sufficient and money and supply cost is unnecessary as it's in UK's interest to preserve second front as long as possible. Maybe I'll experiment with France AI so it actually start fighting after few months if dissent in GER is high enough.

Implementing Poland as gov-in-exile in DH is technically possible, however in that case I'd rater restart or continue as a major power to have actual influence over history. I'm afraid playing as country without territory, with handful of subs, destroyers, fighters and few land divisions, dependent on not-so-bright AI, would not be very exciting. There are mods that already implement Polish Armed Forces in the East and West and IMHO that's the way to go.
 
Dunno, having an Island with a bunch of IC could be done to represent an exiled government. It'd be nice to play as Sikorski's Poland, maybe pull a Charles De Gaulle with Warsaw before the commies arrive.

Great! However you might want to wait till I fix some bugs I've found (currently testing Gundlach Periscope triggering in allies of Poland) and balance things properly (trains, minister traits, etc.)
Dunno.. I'm in 36 and the IC disparity is pretty massive. I don't think these ahistorical forts will save the situation.

Building fortifications in Poznan was proposed in "Studium planu strategicznego Polski przeciw Niemcom Kutrzeby i Mossora" (eng. Study of Poland's strategic plan against the Germans) ISBN 83-211-0863-6.
IC disparity historically didn't have reliable workaround, but it can be mitigated with smart plan. In this setup:

I was able to launch an offensive in Slovakia and Silesia, but failed to take East Prussia and port on Baltic to secure British convoys and north front.
Germans are handicapped by the fact that they have to keep units on France border and shores, and over time they will be getting bigger and bigger dissent spikes, especially if you succeed to sunk their battleships.

I think Rhineland remilitarization is a better choice for the invasion of Germany because Poland would have a better reason to invade Germany and probably UK and France support as they won't want to start a war and they would use Poland to end German threat and it will be better for gameplay, Germany would have a decent army to match the Polish army so they could win, in '33 Germany has no chance to win. The results could be very interesting like nazi party disbanded and democracy restored in Germany, some polish territory for Poland, Italian less courage to invade Ethiopia as they saw what happened to Germans or Germany victory giving the Germans the collidor and war payments to rearm themself etc.

Anyway, nice mod and good luck with it.

Historically, Poland would actually attack Germany if France did it first. Without French initiative there was no good casus belli IMHO. Voting against the Remilitarization would make no difference. I think that establishing Wehrmacht and annexing Sudetenland might be better reasons for war and make interesting difficulty scaling:
Preventive War as tutorial or easy mode;
Wehrmacht '36 as medium;
Czechoslovakia '38 as hard;
and September '39 as very hard.
