Some time ago I started a small project preparing a sprite set for Poland. It's only some 60% finished so far, but some sprites are already available for download from my site. Enjoy and comment!

I just noticed that Wyrmshadow prepared a lot of new sprites for Civ3, so perhaps I'll try to convert some of those - for instance his Bloch bomber looks promising. Also, he has a lot of sprites for the HoI minors: Finland, China, Greece, Yugoslavia, Sweden... Any suggestions?

Well, apparently there are no decent sprites in HoI2, neither for Poland nor for other Allies. Too bad. Perhaps I'll give it a try and convert the sprites I made for HoI to HoI2 format.
