Summary
Pope calls character to crusade once again after the character previously declined the callDescription
I was playing a Catholic Cynical character and was called upon to Crusade (not the initial event, but the personal parchment event from the Pope where you choose to pledge troops, money, or nothing). Out of curiosity, and motivated by (IIRC) the stress increase from promising my troops or money, I told the Pope I was too busy. A newer event (as in, CK3 aesthetic compared to the parchment CK2) decried me for going against the will of the Church. A few days later *the personal parchment event from the Pope reappeared*, asking me for my troops, money, or nothing. This time, I chose to pledge my troops so the cycle wouldn't repeat again.Player expectation: Event should happen once and if you tell the pope to shove it, the player should suffer some penalty, but be left in peace.
Game result: Event might continue to occur so long as you haven't donated troops or money? Pretty Infuriating.
Also, forgive me if this is a repeat. I swear I've seen someone mention this bug before, but I tried a few keywords and couldn't find a previous bug report. I also don't have a save because I just decided to play through it at the time (yesterday).
Steps to reproduce
1. Play a Catholic character (mine was cynical, not sure if necessary)2. Pope declares a Crusade, don't pledge during the initial call
3. When the Pope directly asks you to pledge your troops or your money to the crusade, pick the third option, telling him you're too busy (or something like that)
4. When the resulting event pops up that penalizes you for refusing the call, accept.
5. See a second call to participate appear a few days later, despite already receiving a penalty for telling the pope to shove it.
