I'm not sure if the devs released the hotfix to fix secondary pop growth but if they did it worked. In my game as assimilators, all my world with bio pops is growing them. However, now my machine pops won't grow automatically and I had to go to every planet and select them to assemble.

I tried to replicate it by selecting my machines (that weren't building) and then selecting any species button and instead of no species assembling at all my organic pops got into the assembling slot. I don't even have any vats. So no, I can't. Additionally, it shows now species is assembling but it still has 3.9 next to the little bio assembling icon.
6. Does this happen on all saves or just specific ones?
I don't have any other saves.
7. What steps have you taken to try and solve this yourself (reinstall, Google error code etc)?
