Does anybody know for what period of time the population growth rate of a city / colony is calculated ?
For me it seems that the projected growth rate is calculated for a period of 10 years, e.g. if your colony (or a city, doesn't matter)has 100 people and a growth rate of 10%, after one year you will have a population of 101 people and after 10 years you will have 110 people.
Before the 1.05 patch I remember my colonies were growing very much faster than it is now, I got the 10% in one year and not in 10.
I don't know now, if this was intentionally changed with the 1.05 patch or whether it is a new bug. At least now the growth rates are predictable and correctly counted for both cities and colonies, but on the other hand the growth rate of your colonies are significantly slowed down, means without pushing a colony with colonists it will practically never become a city. What do you think ?
