I am running the latest game update

Yes

Required

Summary

Populist uprising strips participants of the uprising of their titles and their whole domain gets assigned to random NPC after successful revolt

Description

In attached save file if you let the uprising finish and win, you can see that my liege, king of Bohemia looses his whole domain. His kingdom and duchy titles get destroyed and all counties from his destroyed kingdom get assigned to one random NPC ... this makes no sense for participant of victorious uprising both from both angles "as player" as well as "story vise for participating ruler". Why would anyone even participate in the uprising if this was the result?

Also pretty game breaking if your liege does dumb stuff like this and terminates your game outside of your control.

Steps to reproduce

Just let the save play out. Uprising finishes within few days after start.

Game Version

Quill (1.10.2)

Platform

Windows

Just adding extra information, this same result happens when my lieges liege just gives in to the populist demand without trying to suppress them which results in just random game over screen without any explanation. I needed to reload my last autosave to figure out what happened and in this reloaded variation he entered into war with this faction which only resulted in the prolonging of this game termination since he lost in the end anyway (which is where the provided save is from).

I can confirm this issue happening from watching a Lets Play of German youtuber Steinwallen (and running twice into this bug/mechanic within a few years was among the reasons why he stopped that Lets Play).

I'm not sure whether it is a bug on the technical side or maybe just a design decision not playing out as intended or having unforseen consequences - but whatever it is, its ugly for immersion if you run into it and should be investigated.
