So I love this mod to death, it's so much better than vanilla. But when playing recently, I thought up some things.

Well for one, halve the castle levies, I found the levies of some of the more powerful houses a little crazy. A good Reach lord paramount can do nearly 100k, and in an earlier save from a previous patch, as Lord Hightower, I had 10k in levies. I know the Hightowers are powerful, but that powerful? Mern IX Garnder and Loren I Lannister only raised 55k against Aegon, and they had time to raise an army, and in The War of Five Kings, Tywin could only do 40k at most I think. In most games as Aegon, I found myself raising more leveis than every other Lord Paramount, which in canon is inaccurate. I also found it pretty ridiculous that a level 6 Essosi castle does 10k alone. So I edited the base_values file and halved (rounded up) each castle and loaded up the game. Makes war more strategic since you can't rely on a handful of high lords to raise half your army, makes keeping each vassal happy. The Crownlands in my game only do 9k in levies, making my game more interesting in keeping vassals happy, and my lord paramount vassals do a mix of 9k (Iron Isles) to 30k (Reach and Westerlands). I left the cities alone, partly because I got tired after editing the castles, and they seem fine as is with the mix of archers and light infantry.

My other suggestion regards King's Landing/The Red Keep. The Red Keep only became the Red Keep after Maegor I Targaryen finished the construction and killed each of the architects and builders. Before that, it was simply Blackwater Keep/Aegon's High Hill. So just as King's Landing gets the Gold Cloak Barracks when reaching a level 6 city, so should The Red Keep gain a special building called "Maegor's Holdfast," increasing fort level and a garrison increase (4 and 25% seem reasonable), as well as being changed to The Red Keep. I'm not sure how or if this is possible, but when The Red Keep is still between its 2-5 level scale, it should still be called Blackwater Keep or Aegon's High Hill. In Canon, The Red Keep is placed on a very defensible hill, so it shouldn't be just your average level 6 castle. Thinking of that now, the same should also be for the other canon capital castles, Casterly Rock, Storm's End, The Eyrie, and Harrenhal also get a special upgrade, so should Pyke, Highgarden, Riverrun, and Winterfell should get some extra fort level upgrade because they are placed in such a well defensible location that allowed them to expand as they did (Look at what Theon said about how Winterfell can hold out against an army much larger than the garrison). I honestly don't know what sort of building Sunspear should have, because the location didn't expand out of the Sandship's power, but through Nymeria and her band of warriors beating everyone else.

Eh Highgarden and it's 3 tiers of walls are probably jumped up and the reason it hasn't fallen in forever is because simply you have to fight through half of the Reach to reach it and gods that is a lot of frilly knights to kill

The Westerosi numbers are pretty much as intended. The Reach being able to field 100k under a good leader matches canon in that Mace Tyrell seemed to be able to field thousands of troops, I think it was worked out at about 80k. I tend to agree on the essosi numbers though.

Nice idea, we will do that

Being level 6 already supposes good fort level. Only the particularly special places, Casterly Rock, Storm's End, The Eyrie, and Harrenhal, warrant the extra fort level.
