Good review. :) Some things I didn't understand though. Like there is eight titles, three which you can manually bestow. Is it those three that is the court or all eight? Didn't get that. And the demesne is one of three resources? How is the demesne a resource?

Titles (I understand this better now than when I originally wrote the preview a couple of days ago):
Courtier: adults in your clan that you can give jobs to.
Kokujin: control one province. You can assign who controls which provinces.
Master of Ceremonies: does diplomatic actions. You can pick who does this job.
Master of Arms: does military actions. You can pick who does this job.
Master of the Guard: does stealth actions. You can pick who does this job.
Daimyo: controls one region. This, I think, is hereditary and can't be assigned manually.
Clan Leader: runs the clan's army and conducts diplomacy. The next leader is chosen by vote.
Jugoi: a temporary title earned by giving money to the emperor in exchange for honor.

Demesne is how many territories you directly control. You can have five. Having less is OK, but having more will result in revolts. You should pick a member of your clan to administer the "extra" ones as soon as possible.

Oh, thanks for the link (and the preview, of course). I really enjoy out of eight and your reviews, which I usually tend to agree with. I am a bit skeptical about this game, so more information is welcome for me.

I'll be looking forward the AAR ;)

Believe me, an AI can be massively improved over two months. :p

Previews are not the place to be critical, either positively or negatively, since the game is not finished. I carefully avoided saying whether things are "good" or "bad" during the preview.
I also have not played enough to get a full opinion on the competency of the AI.

haha.

question though, when your character died, you carried on playing as his son? or the other relative that got most support and succeeded as clan leader?

Excellent AAR although a bit short.

Would love to hear more tales from the Shiba clan but I'm guessing you have other games to review :(

Can you tell us what clans were dominant when your ruler died?
