Please attach here the game log C:\Users\{UserName}\AppData\Local\Introversion\Prison Architect\debug.txt
To see the AppData folder you'll need to enable View Hidden Items in File Explorer.
AND DXDIAG is a program you run from the Windows search box on the task bar. After running it will open a window and start collecting info with a progress bar in the lower-left corner. When it completes click the 'save all information' button and save it to a file then attach that file here.
THEN see if it starts in Safe Mode okay.

Hi, I'm having the same problem. Here's the files.
ETA: Only edits I made to the files is to remove reference to my rl name, just for privacy.

The game is crashing in MSCTF.dll which is a core Windows module. Try running this Windows repair tool

Check with Acer and Intel for an update to that Intel(R) Iris(R) Xe Graphics driver.
And see if you can find an update to this driver:

The game worked last I played it on this laptop sometime last year.
I ran that repair tool and it did fix some stuff, tried to run prison architect, nothing, restarted and tried again incase it needed a resatrt to kick in. Still nothing. I can't find an update to the Larmkanal driver, but looking online its a virtual driver for something I don't use anymore bc its discontinued due to there being a newer program that does the same thing. I did however remove the drivers but still not running. Is there anything else I can do to get the game working?

Still crashing in that same Windows module, I see. You may have a Windows problem that tool can't fix! Even malware, possibly.
Make a new Windows user on the machine and log into it with that. Go into Startup Apps and disable everything. Reboot and log in as that same new user; do you stiill get this problem?
