So, in the event chain that spawns a Odd Factory, it got rid of my only pop on my colony... and destroyed it. But that's not the problem, there was pre-sapients on the the planet and when the colony was destroyed, they disappeared. Any help?

If you think you've found a bug/glitch then open a ticket as the people will be able to help you more. If it is a glitch or a bug then you opening a ticket will let them know that there is a problem. No one can really do anything on forums apart from tell you if they've had that problem. I've played a lot on console and never had the issue so it's likely a bug. Just open a ticket you'll get more help.
Plus if it is a issue you opening the ticket will help make the game better in fixing an issue.
