Imagine an enemy area consisting of five provinces.Only one of them has a strong ic and the others are zero. When you make a strategic attack to that area your planes will also bomb the four provinces with 0 ic in vain, instead only focusing on the strong province.Every attack means one day and these in vain bombings are only waste of time. There's same problem with logistical strike, ground attack and interdiction too. These missions should be precise(province based) just like runway cratering and port strike missions.

I don't agree, If you got 40-50 wings of strat bombers you are either forced to spread them out so they can be easilly defeated, or micromanage them giving them new missions each week.

The real raids were massive. 1000+ bombers towards the end.

What we need is an AI that ignores worthless targets and if anything a mission that can target not only areas but entire nations.

It would also be nice to be able to fly bombers on different missions together so that your 20stack of bombers hit the same province with logstrike & strat bombing & installation strike.

I agree with the need for either
A) better AI for the aircraft targeting or
B) allow us to choose the exact target (perhaps you could have the option area or exact)

I'm sure everyone has seen the fight sometimes, where you have a couple fights in a given area, one of them is critical, but your allocated CAS goes to the wrong target. This simply wouldn't happen in reality. (yes, I know wrong targets have been hit before - but boming Portsmouth instead of Cornwall????)
